M&M's Surprise Engagement Party

Two of my favorite people recently officially decided to spent the rest of their lives together.

Recently as in, yesterday!

Maura, being the sneaky little sleuth that she is, figured out that yesterday might be the P-day (proposal day), but what she did not know is that her nearest and dearest had gathered round for a surprise mini-engagement party for her and her new fiance Mitch!

As you can see by their mile-wide smiles, it was a very happy occasion for them. And for us, on account of witnessing all the love (and drinking all the champagne).

Mitch's face got blurred a bit here, but their fete was complete with little bride and groom "dresses" for their champagne glasses. It would be inappropriate if those flutes were naked.

We managed a group photo (that's me in the back hangin' out with my furry friend Ozzy).

Ozzy and I shared a passionate kiss.

Right before I was taken over by my own fiance!

All in all it was a fabulous evening, full of love and celebration. There is nothing quite so special as when two people make their love forever- especially when I am in on the secret beforehand and get to throw a last minute soiree!
